1. How to use alert options?

You can receive alerts to your cell phone via SMS, to your email, as well as you can read alerts in your RSS reader. In order to add or manage these alerts, go to the profile of the company of your interest and click on "News alert options" tab. Please note, that you must be a registered user and you must be logged in to receive news alerts. (Register). Also, if you would like to receive alerts on your cell phone, make sure you add your cell phone number and select mobile carrier in your User Profile.

On the "News alert options" page you will see a table with company's current quote and alert options icons in "Subscribe" column:

Select types of alerts that you would like to receive by clicking on corresponding icons. Once you click an icon, it will change color. A color icon means that you have selected this type of alert, and gray icon means that this type of alert is off.

Then select how often you would like to receive these alerts in the drop down list:

Now you are set. The page will not reload - once you clicked on the icons or selected how often you'd like to receive news alerts - your selections were saved. You can at any time edit your alert subscription in your User Profile under "Edit alert options" tab in a table that looks like this:
