Last Monday, I was scanning the news for OTCBB and Pink Sheet stocks and ran across an interesting story: Origin Oil had reported that they were now publicly traded on the OTCBB under ticker symbol OOIL. Now, anything energy or alternative energy is to be paid attention to; especially if it’s a new issue on the market. I looked at the Company’s website, www.originoil.com and was amused at first; algae into oil?

On the website it says: OriginOil™, Inc. is developing a breakthrough technology that will transform algae, the most promising source of renewable oil, into a true competitor to petroleum. I read on and found another interesting quote on Origin Oil’s website from the UN Food and Agriculture Organization: "Research into the production of petroleum alternatives using microalgae is important to the future of mankind." Hummmmm…

This Company has gone public on the OTCBB in what is considered by most not the best of markets. It is difficult these days to go public on the OTCBB without having your ducks perfectly in a row. There might be something to this after all? I contacted the CEO, Riggs Eckelberry, for a discussion and we will have a talk this week. Mr. Eckelberry has a very strong background. I am very interested in discussing the technology with him. Certainly the information at Origin Oil’s website is compelling to say the least. I do own the stock and have been buying a little at a time since last Monday (28 April) at .20. No one can say I didn’t tell them. I have been pounding the drum on this Company since the 28th of April at www.hotstockchat.com.

Another company I stumbled across last week is Solei Systems, Inc. It’s trading on the Pink Sheets under ticker SOLI. Solei consists has three divisions, Intelligent Tanning Systems: (ITS), Light Therapy Systems (LTS) and BioScience Systems, Inc. This Company is also brand new to the market…

I spoke with Paul Spivak, the CEO of Solei and he made sure to tell me that Solei Systems is unique in that all of their machines and equipment are manufactured in-house which greatly reduces costs and dramatically increases efficiency at all levels. Solei has several patents and several are pending. He told me that more details would be coming out in near-future news releases. Mr. Spivak’s background alone is impressive. He was the founder of Magic Tan, the world's number one UV free spray tanning Company. There are lots of details about the Company in their first news release which they put out last week on Friday, May 2. I do own a small position in this Company.

While the market may be tough according to lots of people, there are still big opportunities out there. Every week it seems there are exciting new companies coming onto the market.

Skinny Water (OTCBB: SKNY) is not a brand new Company but put out several news releases recently which sent the stock from the teens two weeks ago to over .50 at one point yesterday before pulling back. Again, I put this one out at hotstockchat.com at .21.

The opportunities are out there; there are plenty of resources to use. If one does nothing else but read the news coming out on OTCBB and Pink Sheet companies…
